The Unlocking Potential Foundation will be supporting a community based non-profit organization in the Jacksonville, Florida area that provides services and supports to veterans, service members and their families. We are in need of facilitators interested in utilizing their skills, time and experience to strengthen the leadership and problem solving capacity of a community of practice supporting the transition of service members back into civilian life. Through a two-day, intensive, hands-on experience UP facilitators will provide veteran leaders an opportunity to strengthen their leadership behaviors and characteristics to maximize the impact of their work in communities.

Unlocking Potential Facilitators will work directly with non-profit leaders throughout a one-day or two-day, intensive Leadership Lab to ensure they have the support needed to build their leadership and problem-solving capacity and achieve their goals:

• Facilitate five hour-long small group discussions (8-10 participants) over two days on core elements of the curriculum, ensuring all participants are contributing and that the key lessons are imparted throughout the conversation (to be shared in advance)
• Support Carly Fiorina and/or UP Leadership staff as they facilitate conversations with small and large groups of participants on the same topics
• Work with participants individually and in small groups to practice, apply, develop, and review the characteristics, behaviors, disciplines, and tools of leadership, including:
  • Humility, empathy, collaboration, seeing possibilities, courage, character
  • Current / future state analysis
  • Leadership Framework TM
  • Communications plan
  • Implementation plan
