We are currently seeking Volunteers to join our Victim Advocacy Services team based within the counties we serve which are Fulton/ Montgomery/ Hamilton, Warren/ Washington/ Saratoga, and Schenectady/ Schoharie! We provide coverage for a 24 Hr hotline. We serve victims of all ages and for any crime, but are most well-known for our sexual assault advocacy. We offer over the phone counseling, accompaniment to local ERs and child advocacy centers. While on the hotline, volunteers receive calls remotely to their personal cell phone. Our volunteers receive a comprehensive training, most of which is done through their personal computer. At the completion of the program, Volunteers are DOH certified Victim Advocates and Crisis Counselors.

As a team composed of staff and volunteer advocates, we share coverage for a 24 hour hotline. We offer a comprehensive training program after which our volunteers are DOH certified Victim Advocates and Crisis Counselors. We serve the following 8 counties: Schenectady, Schoharie, Fulton, Montgomery, Hamilton, Warren, Washington & Saratoga. Volunteer opportunities are available in each county.
