The Kentucky Derby Museum is in need of help during the week of Derby starting Tuesday, May 1st through Saturday, May 5th. Individuals can work one day or all of them.

  • Will be required to fill out a W-9 and time sheet for check processing
  • Will need to work at least 12 hours on Oaks and Derby
  • Tuesday through Thursday shifts start at 6 AM (or later)
  • Will need to be able to pass a background check
  • Will be standing majority of the day and constantly moving
  • Job will consist of folding t-shirts, running product from stock rooms to sales floor, helping guests with sizing,
  • Will be provided with a uniform shirt for Oaks & Derby Day

Description

The Kentucky Derby Museum is one of the premiere attractions in the Louisville region, celebrating the tradition, history, hospitality and pride of the world-renowned event that is the Kentucky Derby.

The Kentucky Derby Museum, in addition to preserving the history of the Kentucky Derby, offers so much more to the community. The education department offers free educational programs to all public and parochial schools within the states of Kentucky and Indiana that focus on Core Academic standards. Through these programs, students learn about the economics, history and significance of the Kentucky Derby.
