If your pet has been certified by Mo-Kan Pet Partners, let's chat! As an Olathe Health volunteer, you and your furry friend would:
- Provide pet therapy to our patients, families and staff.
- Be a welcoming presence as you lend support and companionship.
- Choose where you want to volunteer: Olathe Medical Center, Olathe Hospice House, Doctor's Buildings 1 and 2, and/or our Cancer Center.
- Provide proof of current Mo-Kan Pet Partners certification prior to start.
- Provide proof of current pet vaccinations prior to start.
- Complete training process prior to start.

Description
Olathe Health Ambassadors, what we like to call our volunteers, work in both clinical and non-clinical areas. Their talents are used at information desks, reception areas, patient registration, surgery family room, business offices, hospice care, and the Gift Shops - just to name a few. They also help with special projects such as Community Blood Drives and fundraising events.
At Olathe Health, our Ambassadors and staff work together to make each patient's stay as comfortable as possible.
