The First Tee of Canton is looking for more volunteers to help in our spring and summer classes here at our facility! You DO NOT need to be a great golfer to be a volunteer coach! All you need is knowledge of the game and a passion to work with youth. Our volunteers help kids with the very basics of golf and most importantly stress safety in our classes. Ultimately we want to make sure kids have an enjoyable experience in our classes so they will come back!
So if you like golf and like working with youth, this is the place to be this spring/summer! We try to keep our ratios of kids to coaches at about 4:1 or 5:1. So we always need lots of volunteers to help our First Tee lead coaches in the classes!
We hope you'll consider spending your time with us! This opportunity is available to anyone 18 years and up! Some high schoolers may receive consideration as well.

Description
The First Tee of Canton is a youth development agency that teaches young people life skills and healthy habits through learning the game of golf. We received our charter from The First Tee network office in 2002. All children ages 5 - 18 years old are welcome to go through our programming and we never turn a child away due to the inability to pay.
