HANA Northwest Center resume its citizenship ESL class on Tuesdays, 9:30am to noon, starting 7th of August. This summer session will last for 10 weeks. Almost all students of this class will be new Korean or Latino immigrants.

The syllabus for the entire session will be the same as other citizenship classes.

If you are interested in exploring your civic/history teaching skill, please feel free to contact me via email or text me at (773) 917-7856. We are also welcome those who want to help our citizenship classes as instructor aides.

Mission Statement

We are looking for ESL tutor volunteers. Tutoring usually lasts about 1 hour and during this hour you will help the student with their reading, writing, and grammar skills. We will pair you with a student at the time that is most convenient for the both of you. Therefore, we are very flexible with hours. We would love to have you a part of our team and hope that you will fill out our tutor application soon.
