Exciting opportunity for someone interested in electronics and visual arts to do one or more of the following: closed-captioning display, programming, electronics, fabrications and organizing/cleanup on Saturdays between the hours of 10am-2pm. This involved working in an ASL-friendly environment but ASL skills are not necessary.
We need electronics help preparing for the Northwest Deaf Festival 2018, a big event held on June 16, 2018. More information on the festival can be found here:

Mission Statement
CymaSpace facilitates arts and cultural events inclusive of the Deaf & Hard-of-Hearing through Technology, Education and Awareness.
Description
CymaSpace is a non-profit performing arts & technology incubator in Portland, Oregon.
Our mission is to make the performing arts more accessible and inclusive to Deaf and Hard of Hearing communities by supporting the development of projects and education programs utilizing Cymatic technology (translating sound waves into visual and tactile phenomena) and presenting these works in live performance.
We believe that when artists involve more of the senses, their work is not only more accessible and inclusive, but also more engaging and exciting.
