Happy Patient with the Team
Our Sea Crest Volunteers make such a difference in the lives of our patients!

Our Bereavement Volunteers offer their support to family members during the bereavement period under the guidance of our Bereavement Coordinator to provide emotional comfort through visits, calls, cards, facilitating support groups and during special days and events. Great opportunity for those who have suffered grief themselves and MSW or Masters of Divinity students. We are open to exploring volunteer internships, as well.

All Sea Crest volunteers go through an extensive training program that focuses on what terminally ill patients and their families may experience and teaches volunteers how to provide care, as part of the hospice team. Our training will give you the knowledge and skills you need to be confident and comfortable in your new role.
