Volunteer Driver For Seniors - Training
ORGANIZATION: Help At Your Door
Please visit the new page to apply.
Empty passenger seat? Give it to a senior.
Help At Your Door, a nonprofit serving seniors and individuals with disabilities, is in need of volunteer drivers throughout the Twin Cities Metro area. Attend this training to learn how you can help provide the keys to independence by transporting seniors to appointments or errands using your car.
Drive as little as two times per month or as often as you’d like. Enjoy the companionship of seniors and the knowledge that you are providing an essential service.
We offer flexible scheduling, social interaction with a welcoming volunteer community, and most of all, hands-on activities that help the aging population and individuals with disabilities maintain their independence and continue living in their homes.
If you are unable to make this session but are interested in volunteering as a driver, contact volunteer@helpatyourdoor.org or call 651-642-1892 for more information.
