A Little TIme, A Profound Effect

If you have a caring heart and want to provide comfort, companionship and support for someone at the end of life, this could be the opportunity for you. Compassus Hospice is looking for volunteers to spend a little time each week with a patient. Our patients live in their own homes, assisted living facilities and nursing homes. Do you have an hour a week to share with someone? You can spend time doing exactly what the patient wants to do- go outside, paint, color, garden, read, talk or listen to music to name a few. Volunteers are an important component of the hospice team and the rewards for both the volunteer and the patient/family can be numerous. Does this type of volunteer opportunity speak to your heart?

To learn how you can share your gifts, email Kim Iannacci at Kimberly.Iannacci@compassus.com or call 978 777-8222.
