We are looking for SUPER HEROES!
Our dedicated volunteers become part of the health care team, enhancing the patient and family experience by meeting specific needs.

Harmony Community Healthcare Loves it's Volunteer Team! As a matter of fact, the work our volunteers engage in, is the most important part of what we're able to do for our Seniors within our own community. We'd love to have you be a member of our team!

YOU can help by doing in-person visits with patients who are in their home, adult care home, or larger assisted living facilities.

We are looking for kind and caring volunteers. As a hospice volunteer you not only provide companionship to a client in need, but you provide moral support and help with activities that will enrich their (and your) lives. You may enjoy reading together, watching TV, working on a craft project, having a conversation, and/or assist with respite care.

If you don't feel comfortable doing in-person visits or for assisted living facilities not allowing volunteers to visit, you can still help! You could write encouraging notes and letters to them! How easy is that?!

If you possess a unique talent or skill and have time share it with our patients and their families, please let us know. We would be delighted to have you on-board. Invisible cape provided!

Contact me today to join our team.

Mission Statement

The Mission of Harmony Hospice is to provide excellent and compassionate hospice care while creating a community bond through the professional services of our medical staff and volunteers.

Harmony Hospice respects and honors the very personal choice made by many who have been informed that their illness is no longer responding to conventional care. We can provide relief with the reassurance that our professional staff is well experienced and able to provide compassionate care for the client, as well as guidance to the family and caregivers. Physical, social, spiritual, and emotional care are provided by a clinically-directed interdisciplinary team consisting of patients and their families, professionals, and volunteers during the last stages of an illness, dying process & bereavement period.
