We are looking for a volunteer to provide temporary assistance with dog walking for a senior in the Audubon Park neighborhood.
A 69 year old man who recently fell and broke his hip needs help walking his dog once a day. The dog is a friendly older female dog that just needs moderate exercise.
This is temporary help needed for a couple months until the owner rehabilitates and can start walking the dog again. Ideally seeking someone who can help once a day every day, but availability even twice a week would help greatly.
Due to the vulnerable population that we serve, volunteers are required to complete an application which asks for 3 references and authorization to run a background check.
Please contact Anne at ahoward@ccspokane.org for more information and to get signed up!
