LAW ENFORCEMENT TORCH RUN INTERN - LONG BEACH

DATES & TIMES:
Year Round - 2018; 12-20 hours per week

The Law Enforcement Torch Run (LETR) Team is responsible for the organization and implementation of Law Enforcement Torch Run Fundraisers. The department engages in a variety of fundraising arenas including: individual donors, P2P Fundraising, grassroots marketing, large and small events, new agency recruitment, various campaigns and corporate sponsorships. The LETR Intern will assist the LETR Department with all planning and implementation of fundraising events and campaigns.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assist with all aspects of events/campaigns including planning, execution and follow-up
  • Procure in-kind goods and services
  • Manage event supplies, fulfill sponsor benefits, attend events
  • Assist with other LETR duties as needed

Additional Requirements:

Candidates must have strong computer skills and knowledge of MS Office. Must be a self-starter with excellent verbal, written and organizational skills with attention to detail. Possess an outgoing personality, as candidate will be calling individuals and companies on the phone. Event planning experience is preferred.
