Are you someone who gets a thrill out of securing much-needed donations for a worthy organization? Are you comfortable picking up the phone to learn more about what types of giving organizations do? Are you detail-oriented, curious and enthusiastic?
Accelerated Cure Project for Multiple Sclerosis is a nonprofit focused on accelerating research into MS to improve diagnoses, treatments and ultimately to find a cure for the disease. Like many small nonprofits, we have lots of great ideas and not enough hands to get them all done.
This volunteer opportunity is focused around enhancing our development activities. You won't be calling individuals for to ask for donations. This role involves internet research, capturing the information you find in Excel, and then following through by contacting companies who are committed to corporate giving to learn more. Self-motivation, attention to detail, and the ability to follow through are all important elements to bring to the table!
This role can be done virtually from anywhere or if you're located near our offices in Waltham, MA, in person.

Mission Statement
Our mission is to accelerate research for better treatments, faster diagnosis, and a cure for multiple sclerosis.
Description
Accelerated Cure Project’s (ACP) mission is to improve the health, healthcare, and quality-of-life for people affected by multiple sclerosis (MS) by connecting people with MS, care partners, clinicians and researchers, and to work together to accelerate innovation, research, and the application of new knowledge.
