Construction Project Manager
Ayiti Now Corp is a 501(c)(3) organization created for empowering marginalized children of poverty through our educational programs.
Role brief: The Construction Project Manager is a virtual volunteer position that works directly with the CEO plan, estimate, budget and manage the construction of large residential commercial space.
Collaborating with engineers, architects etc. to determine the specifications or outline of the project
Create a budget with the construction estimate software
Review existing construction materials
Determine needed resources (manpower, equipment and materials) from start to finish with attention to budgetary limitations
Plan all construction operations and schedule intermediate phases to ensure deadlines will be met
Evaluate progress and prepare detailed reports
Ensure adherence to all health and safety standards and report issues
Perform other duties as assigned.
Min 10 yrs experience as construction project manager
Minimum volunteer hours required: 5 hrs per week
In-depth understanding of construction procedures and material and project management principles
Familiarity with quality and health and safety standards
Familiarity with construction/ project management software
Outstanding communication and negotiation skills
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
A team player with leadership abilities
