Join the YMCA team and find out how you can become a positive role model in the community. Volunteering at the Y, you’ll make a lasting difference in the lives of those around you.
As Volunteer Cabin Support of the Y, you’ll get to...
- Support multiple counselors by living in the cabin with the campers
- Provide assistance in all aspects of the camper’s daily routine
- Help facilitate activities for campers and other volunteers
- Foster healthy relationships by engaging and mentoring children and teens at camp
WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
- Volunteers 18 years and older and/or Camp E.L.K experienced L.I.T’s
- Enjoys working with children
- Those willing to volunteer on a daily basis for 1 (session) week at a time
Camp Sessions are as Follows:
- June 24 th-29 th
- Theme: Pirate/Pixie Life for Me Camp
- Age Group Attending: 8-14 years
- June 30 th-July 4 th
- Theme: Disney
- Age Group Attending: 5-8 years
- July 8 th-13 th
- Theme: Space
- Age Group Attending: 8-14 years
- July 15 th-20 th
- Theme: Creative Expressions "The Art’s" Camp
- Age Group Attending: 8-14 years
- July 22 nd-27 th
- Theme: Time Travelers Tech Camp (Robots, STEM, time capsule, etc.)
- Age Group Attending: 8-14 years
- July 29 th- August 3 rd
- Theme: Ultimate Sports
- Age Group Attending: 8-14 years

With a focus on youth development, healthy living and social responsibility, the Y serves Orange County through six (6) Health & Wellness centers (Laguna Niguel, Newport Beach, Mission Viejo, Fullerton, Yorba Linda, and Santa Ana) and over 50 Afterschool Program centers. YMCA programs celebrate and honor common values of respect, responsibility, honesty, and caring by infusing character development into the foundation and practice of all our programs; from youth sports and group exercise classes to parent/child programs and community services - Y programs build healthy spirit, mind, and body for all.
The YMCA of Orange County is a nonprofit, charitable organization that serves the entire community.
