Community Based Mentoring

Big Brothers Big Sisters - Pikes Peak
El Paso County, Colorado

Community Based Mentoring: Volunteers are matched with a child (ages 9 to 12) to be that child's Big Brother or Big Sister (mentor / friend).

Volunteers commit to a minimum of one year, spending time with the same child two to four times each month. Big Brothers Big Sisters staff members support the mentors and the match relationship, offering counsel, advice, suggestions and assistance.

Volunteers must be 21 years of age, have a valid driver's license and auto insurance, and be able to pass an extensive background check.

This is our traditional program for which Big Brothers Big Sisters is best and most known for, nationally.

Right now, Big Brothers Big Sisters - Pikes Peak is in need of male volunteers to be Big Brothers. We currently have several young kiddos enrolled as Little Brothers waiting to be matched with a Big. Please consider volunteering today!
