The marketing/PR intern will be a vital part of the People’s Center Clinics & Services team, ensuring that our public-facing presence is impeccable. The intern will help establish a database of media contacts, write press releases and patient mailings, promoting and managing our social media and web presence, perform website maintenance, market research and analysis, and attend promotional/outreach events.

? Pursuing a degree in English, Communications, Marketing, Journalism or other related field
? Strong oral and written communication skills
? Ability to work independently
? Experience working in diverse communities
? Understanding of social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Google+, LinkedIn.
? A commitment to promoting the mission of People’s Center Clinics & Services
? 10-15 hours per week
? Monday - Friday
? Minimum of 3 months commitment required
