ACMHS, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) organization serving mental health consumers in the Anchorage and Fairbanks areas. Our vision is "Wellness for Everyone". Our mission is to promote recovery and wellness by providing consumer-driven behavioral health care services.

The ACMHS, Inc. Board of Directors comprises leaders from the nonprofit and for-profit sector who are dedicated to our mission. Our board members are responsible for strategically guiding ACMHS, ensuring sound financial practices, and advocating for quality mental health services within our company and in the wider community. Board Members are passionate about decreasing the stigma associated with receiving mental health services, and strongly believe that recovery and wellness is possible with the right support systems.

ACMHS is the parent company of Fairbanks Community Mental Health Services, and is actively seeking one or more active and engaged members of the Fairbanks community to represent the needs of the community and FCMHS on our Board of Directors. Fairbanks area members will travel to Anchorage to participate in some meetings in person (approximately 4 times per year), and will participate in other meetings from FCMHS via video-teleconference.
