ACMHS, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) organization serving mental health consumers in the Anchorage and Fairbanks areas. Our vision is "Wellness for Everyone". Our mission is to promote recovery and wellness by providing consumer-driven behavioral health care services.
The ACMHS, Inc. Board of Directors comprises leaders from the nonprofit and for-profit sector who are dedicated to our mission. Our board members are responsible for strategically guiding ACMHS, ensuring sound financial practices, and advocating for quality mental health services within our company and in the wider community. Board Members are passionate about decreasing the stigma associated with receiving mental health services, and strongly believe that recovery and wellness is possible with the right support systems.

Anchorage Community Mental Health Services, Inc. dba Alaska Behavioral Health has been the largest community mental health provider in the state of Alaska since 1974. Our mission is to promote recovery and wellness by providing consumer-driven behavioral health care services to the people of Anchorage and surrounding area. Consumer driven means our consumers are choosing their own healthcare and the path to the road to recovery.
