We are looking for volunteers to be part of the Fundraising and Event Planning Committee for the Refugee Resettlement program of Catholic Charities Los Angeles. The Refugee Resettlement program helps newly arrived refugees from all over the world start their lives in America. Catholic Charities’ staff members, many of whom are former refugees themselves, provide compassionate services to these newcomers, focusing on the empowerment of refugee individuals, families, and communities. This fundraising event will be held to raise funds for the Refugee Resettlement program so that we can continue to provide these services, in the face of limited support from Washington.

Be part of the team and help us plan! If you are interested in volunteering your time and being a part of the Fundraising and Event Planning Committee, contact our volunteer organizer Alvart via email: Aashegh@ccharities.org

We are holding a meeting scheduled on Aug. 9th at 6pm in our main office located. Please RSVP by Aug 3rd to Alvart at Aashegh@ccharities.org to join the meeting.

The volunteer will:

  • Assist with the planning of the fundraiser.
  • Assist with recruitment of donors.
  • Attend committee meetings and communicate with other members.
