Making Strides Against Breast Cancer is a noncompetitive walk to help fight breast cancer and provide hope to people facing the disease. Your participation as a volunteer will support the American Cancer Society’s lifesaving research, prevention, early detection, and support programs for thousands of patients and their families.

In-Kind Donation:

The In-Kind Donations Lead helps secure raffle items, recognition items, food, drinks and other donations for Kickoff and walk day, and any additional ACS hosted events throughout the year. The Making Strides In-Kind Donations Lead represents the American Cancer Society in the community, builds relationships, and uses their contacts, influence, and resources to further our lifesaving mission. Monthly Committee meetings on the second Wednesday of each month 6:30-7:30. 2-3 hours per week of time commitment.

ACS provides patient services, education, and advocacy on cancer-related issues. In addition, the Society raises funds for cancer-related research. Fundraising events include Relay For Life, Bark for Life, and Strides Against Breast Cancer.
