LifeBridge is currently seeking volunteers to assist with our youth summer camp. LifeBridge provides camp to youth between the ages of 6-21 who have a physical or developmental disability. LifeBridge has been providing summer day camp for 36 years to the St. Louis community.
LifeBridge Camp is held at the Gene Slay Girls and Boys Club and we provide activities such as sports, arts, dance, music, yoga and daily themed activities.
Volunteers are needed to serve as camper shadows, team assistants, activity instructor assistances, or other duties as deemed necessary.

Description

Conceptually, a bridge creates connections that help cross over or overcome life’s obstacles. It’s in this sense that we are a structure, a connection, a "LifeBridge" for participants throughout their lives.
The word "partnership" is inclusive and welcoming with a promise that "We are in this together!" Partnership illustrates the idea of a larger group dynamic at work. It also promotes equality by emphasizing abilities and relationships that are connected on equal footing.
