Bold Idea is a Dallas-based organization that builds equitable access and interest in computer science for 3rd - 12 grade students in the Dallas region.
We are seeking highly motivated and experienced people to join our new marketing team. The team will develop strategies for how to communicate our message to potential donors, parents of our program participants and volunteers. Ideal candidates would have experience in public relations, copywriting, message development, social media, community engagement or digital strategy.
Term: 3 months
Time commitment: About 6-8 hours monthly, including program site visits and team meetings; we’re flexible with your time availability
Volunteers should have:
- Experience in marketing communications or digital marketing
- Good communication and writing skills
- Demonstrate dependability, honesty and credibility
- Desire to support the Bold Idea mission and goals in fundraising and program
- Attention to detail
- Ability to collaborate
- Excellent proofreading skills
- Willingness to learn about Bold Idea by attending programs, meeting volunteers and working with staff
