People’s Center Clinics & Services is seeking passionate, motivated volunteers with a passion for holistic and behavioral health. The Behavioral Health Volunteer will be working in the Behavioral Health Department and around the Cedar Riverside community to update documents, improve the department’s filing system, participate in Mental Health Awareness Month activities, and canvas door-to-door in the community promoting People’s Center’s Behavioral Health services. The Volunteer will work directly under the supervision of the Behavioral Health Program Manager and gain valuable knowledge of culturally-competent behavioral health services in a non-profit, federally qualified community health center setting.
This is an exciting opportunity to work directly in a health care setting, network with professional health care specialists and develop skills needed to pursue your health care career while learning the fundamental mission, structure and operation of Peoples’ Center Clinics & Services.
