The Wetlands Conservancy needs your help! We are looking for a few people to help us perform maintenance on one of our properties in Tigard.
Every Spring brings a new rush of invasive plants and illuminates the accumulated trash from the previous year. We are looking for around 20 volunteers to help us clean up the marsh, pick up trash, and remove nonnative plants in Knez Wetland. Any participants under 18 must be accompanied by a legal guardian.
When:
June 2, 2018
9am to 12pm

Cleanup and removal of nonnative plants

Description
Our boots are in Oregon’s wetlands. Founded in 1981, The Wetlands Conservancy is the only organization in Oregon dedicated to working in partnership with communities statewide to permanently protect, conserve and restore Oregon’s greatest wetlands. In collaboration with public and private sector partners, we have conserved some of Oregon’s greatest wetlands within the Oregon Central Coast, Harney County and the Willamette Valley. Our work has also included ownership, enhancement and stewardship of 500 acres of wetlands in the Portland Metro region.
