VOLUNTEER WITH THE MCMINNVILLE AREA HABITAT FOR HUMANITY
Job Title: Framer
Purpose: Our mission is to bring people together to build homes, community, and hope. Framers help us accomplish this by working with Habitat families to build their homes.
Location: Aspire Community Development, Turner Way, McMinnville, OR 97128
Activities: Volunteer will assist with framing of new houses.
Qualifications: Basic experience with framing preferred. Volunteer must be at least 18 years old.
Time Commitment: Construction shifts are ~6 hours, but are flexible. Available shifts include Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday from 8-2:30pm.
Benefits: Great work experience, help families build their home, references for future employers, meet new friends.
Working Conditions: Work is often done outside or inside with no temperature control. Power tools and construction supplies are on site. Ground and floor may be uneven.

This the McMinnville Area Habitat for Humanity partners with low-income families and volunteers to build safe, decent, and affordable homes in our community. Our service area includes McMinnville, Amity, Sheridan, Willamina, Yamhill, Carlton, and Lafayette. A portion of funding for our building projects comes directly from our Re-Store, a commercial enterprise selling donated, gently used home goods.
