Barn at Good Hope Farm

Come spend a spring morning volunteering at the farm! This month, we will be working on upgrades to our greenhouse and educational garden areas. Please dress for the weather and bring sturdy shoes and water bottle. Snacks, water, gloves and tools are provided. No farming/gardening experience is required, and there's no need to register. Just show up at 9AM and we will train you on tasks before work begins.

Good Hope Farm is a 29 acre urban farm operated by the Piedmont Conservation Council on land owned by the Town of Cary. We seek to create a financially sustainable model of leasing farmland to new farmers, connect new farmers with local market opportunities, serve as a demonstration site for environmentally responsible farming practices, and provide educational opportunities for the community regarding agriculture and nutrition.
