The Visitor Services Aide will volunteer under the direction of the Refuge Park Ranger. Duties include staffing the Visitor Center information desk and assist visitors; light maintenance involved with Visitor Center, assist visiting schools/community groups; assist with Refuge special events and assist with the Muscatatuck Wildlife Society bookstore. Background check is required and paid for by the Refuge.

The Jackson County United Way Volunteer Action Center was created in November of 2010 to connect the volunteers of Jackson County to the agencies who are in need of their skills and services.
