Certified pet therapy dog/cat teams are needed to visit long term care residents at Governor Bacon Health Center. Many of the residents have very little family visitation. Many that once had a pet of their own miss them terribly. We are reaching out to the community to ask that if you are able, to please brighten the day of a resident and consider adding Governor Bacon into your visiting route and volunteering as a Pet Therapy Team.

Description
The Governor Bacon Health Center (GBHC) is located along the Delaware River in Delaware City, Delaware. This 292-acre campus is the center for a 94-bed long term care residential facility which provides intermediate care. It enjoys a reputation for thoughtful, competent care, with full time nursing attention for our residents.
