The objective of the "Kids Supporting Kids" program is for these students to be able to express their own artistic and creative side in a group setting as a way to engage in an authentic dialog around their life-altering experience due to cancer. The program focuses on building self-esteem, barrier breaking and education of children affected by cancer, their siblings, classmates and schoolmates.
The overarching goal of this program is to increase awareness and sensitize students about the effects of this life-threatening disease on children. We believe that introducing an open conversation about the implications of cancer and its struggle will prove to be a stepping-stone towards achieving a more harmonious and understanding atmosphere for all the students.
