FOR WOMEN VOLUNTEERS ONLY

The Ambassador for Veterans of America is a role created to enhance the Veteran's experience by providing direct comfort, support, and reassurance to the Veteran during examinations, procedures, or other care that may cause anxiety. She functions as an adjust/supplement to the clinical team and contributes to creating an environment that supports patient satisfaction and the delivery of care by focusing on the Veteran's psychological well-being. The Ambassador's presence allows the clinical staff to focus on the clinical and procedural needs of the patient, knowing that the Ambassador will appropriately take care of the patient's comfort needs.

In partnership with the American Red Cross.
