Do you enjoy volunteering with the senior community?
LINC Housing appreciates the support that volunteers give toward our greater initiative of providing affordable housing communities to low-income families, seniors, and formerly homeless. This is our annual Mother's Day Tea Party event at SEASONS at La Palma! Get your volunteer group or corporate group involved to provide a wonderful experience to our seniors.
Volunteer Tasks:
- Set up the community room/ tables with ornaments
- Prepare/ set up tea/ drinks/ food
- Greet residents
- Help serve food plates and drinks to residents
- Do carnation corsages for attendees
Date : Wednesday, May 9th
Time : We will need volunteers to show up at 9:30 am for prep time.
We will need at least 3-4 volunteers
This is a perfect opportunity to feel good about giving back to your community, to team build, and get a chance to engage with our seniors!

Description
Linc Housing builds, owns, and operates affordable housing for low-income families and seniors throughout California. Our resident services department provides life-enhancing services to residents. Our staff members teach and collaborate with nearby agencies to facilitate classes and activities that cover health, exercise, financial literacy, after-school care, ESL, computer skills, crafts, volunteer opportunities, social events, and field trips to experience science, nature, and the arts.
