About

CAPI is a nonprofit organization located in South Minneapolis that works with immigrants and refugees. Formerly known as the Center for Asians and Pacific Islanders, we changed our name to CAPI USA, as we now serve individuals of all backgrounds. CAPI’s services include workforce development, civic and community engagement, health and human services, and food and nutrition. CAPI has staff that helps with applying for SNAP that assist in applying for health insurance through the marketplace.

Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) is a government program that help families across Minnesota access more nutritious and healthy meals.
