You are a mover and shaker, and eager to learn! You will be an integral part of providing a home away from home for families and children from across the region, providing hospitality, comfort and care. This position requires the direct support of the Operations Team, both inside and outside of the House. You will learn how to efficiently implement projects and initiatives. You will gain an overall understanding of how a nonprofit functions, from the day-to-day operations, to internal and external communications, to overall strategic planning. Duties include:

· supply tracking

· organizing and stocking

· program management

· project development

· streamlining

· working with volunteers

· system analysis

· inventory and sourcing

Ronald McDonald House Charities of Oregon and Southwest Washington provides a "home away from home" for families with seriously ill children, and supports initiatives to improve pediatric health.

Description

Whether it's greeting guests, leading arts & crafts classes or baking cookies, volunteers create a loving "home away from home" for families. "Meals from the Heart" volunteers create delicious treats for guests, and our Children’s Program volunteers lead playtime activities for children offering respite to parents of seriously ill children.
