Mission Statement

The Eliot School is a non-profit school and community resource that provides instruction and training in the fine and applied arts. We seek to advance appreciation of craftsmanship and to encourage the pleasure of creativity and artistic achievement.

LEGACY OF DIVERSITY & PUBLIC ENGAGEMENT
The Eliot School was founded in 1676 and endowed by John Eliot with the provision that it educate African and Native Americans as well as the children of settlers. Maintaining this legacy, we seek to engage people of all ages and all cultural, ethnic and economic backgrounds from the neighborhood, the city, and beyond.

Description

The Eliot School offers classes and workshops for all ages in woodworking, sewing, painting, drawing and related crafts and fine arts. Our affordable classes take place in a comfortable setting throughout the year.
