ORGANIZATION: GWINNETT COUNTY PUBLIC LIBRARY

The Gwinnett County Public Library Learning Labs are bursting with new ideas and programs such as coding, robotics, audio and video editing, and 3D printing. Our volunteers work with a library staff member to help customers with a wide variety of technological components.

Robotics and Coding:

Volunteer opportunities may take place at various library locations. Typically the events are 1 to 2 hours in length. Volunteers should have prior experience with at least some of the following: Coding, Robotics - Arduino, Raspberry Pi and Lego Mindstorms; Audio and Video editing software - Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator, etc., Final Cut Pro and Garageband. If you enjoy any of the above and would be comfortable explaining and coaching, this is the volunteer opportunity for you. The Learning Lab has four locations in Gwinnett. Times vary but are mostly after school and on weekends.
