Sorters are a CRITICAL part of our volunteer workforce at the Harvey Kornblum Jewish Food Pantry! The sorters process all of the food donations that are given to the pantry on a daily basis. Our Sorters will lift bins of produce, check quality, clean and sort by type of food product. Critical thinking, organizational skills and a positive attitude are a plus for this volunteer position.
Most needed times are: Wednesdays (12-3), Thursday (12-3), and Friday (10-12). Volunteers typically come in for 2-4 hour shifts, once per week, ongoing for a year commitment.
Not only would you be helping feed families as a Sorter, you will be working with the best volunteers in STL. We welcome and value diversity! Share with your friends and come volunteer with us today!
