About

Do you have fun working with K-12 students and families? Do you like to make great events happen to raise money for a worthy cause? If you also have a sense of humor, a sense of wonder, and little time to give, then Edheads is the place for you! Edheads is a 501c3 non-profit organization that ties K-12 classroom curricula to real world challenges and careers by providing free games (with cartoon characters) to teachers, students and parents. We are looking for people to implement events for Edheads. We have several events planned but new ones will be coming up regularly in the future. Duties would include, but are not limited to: attending events to lead student groups or hands on activities; sharing professional information and educational pathways with interested students; setting up or cleaning up after an event; working check in lines or manning tables with Edheads information; acting in various roles, as assigned; sharing constructive feedback on recent events and future plans. We ask that you sign up for 1-2 events annually to remain active in our contact list. However, you can decide which events interest you the most, and sign up to attend. Training for all these events occurs just before the event starts or occurs just before the shift you signed up for begins. We are particularly interested in IT and engineering professionals for upcoming events, but all STEM professionals or interested adults are welcome. We have an engineering event on May 14th (3 more engineers needed and 4 more group leaders). Contact us today to begin having fun with the future of STEM!
