We are currently taking applications for volunteers who would available for the semester beginning mid-May 2018. We are looking for volunteers to teach English and could stay at least eight weeks. We would love to have candidates who will stay for a whole semester or even a year, if possible. Couples are welcome too.
NOTE: We do not charge volunteers any fees for working with us. The generous gift of your time and dedication is all the donation we will ask of you.
We provide the volunteers lodging and meals in return for their generous services. Please note that housing is on campus, smoking and consumption of alcoholic will not be allowed.
The volunteer teachers will teach the children, in grades 1-6, English conversation and vocabulary to supplement their regular required English lessons. Most of the class sizes are very small, so even a novice should feel comfortable.
Teaching experience is not required. However, we expect candidates will have the ability to acclimate themselves to the local customs and mentality. e.g. dress conservatively, no smoking nor drinking on campus, avoid public display of affection etc.
We are dedicated not only to help the children but also to make the working and living conditions of our volunteer teachers really pleasant.
