Carlos and kiddo 2
Volunteer Carlos used our new online platform to find a nearby CoachArt student for drum lessons!

When sick kids are in children's hospitals, they have access to hugely beneficial arts and athletics programs. But when their treatment moves to outpatient, and they go home, they can't access those programs.

That's where CoachArt comes in. We match kids with illnesses with volunteers like YOU who will go to their homes and teach them what they want to learn.

And we have a online system to make it more convenient than ever to do your training and find a kid near you to work with.

Mission Statement

CoachArt’s mission is to create a transformative arts and athletics community for families impacted by childhood chronic illness.

CoachArt is a non-profit organization offering free lessons in the arts and athletics to children impacted by chronic illness, ages 5-18. Our vision is that one day every family impacted by chronic illness will be connected to a community of support and an opportunity to learn and grow together.

We partner with talented volunteers and arts/athletics programs to offer lessons in music, art, yoga, photography, dance, soccer - and more! Our CoachArt team matches each individual child with our volunteers and program partners, who provide 8 week lessons in a shared activity of choice.
