Community Support Volunteers working with Beacon of Hope Uganda are playing an important role in development of rural communities in Uganda.
Community Support Volunteers have been getting involved in our projects since 2007 and we have registered several successful sustainable projects in different communities of the Pearl of Africa.
Sustainable community development projects offer a variety of opportunities to make a positive impact for people who want to serve rural under served communities in Uganda.
This is one of the best ways you are able to completely immerse yourself and learn about Uganda, our culture, and experiencing a completely a different adventure.
Community Support volunteer placements are available for both short term and long term volunteers and opportunities for internships through formal training and hands-on work experience.
Projects can be diverse and it might be a rural community to improve on their healthcare, working with orphans to improve their standard of living, building a community school, or just participate in the community outreaches organized by our Coordinators or helping youth with their ventures.
