Photo Journalism Volunteer

Big Brothers Big Sisters is looking for a volunteer who has a background in journalism, writing, photography, and/or community outreach! While we strongly encourage the volunteer to be active in our office environment, we are also flexible and would allow remote work as well.
As a photo journalism volunteer, the following tasks may be asked of you at various times:
- Attend program and signature events in order to obtain pictures of matches
- Help BBBS "tell its story" through the use of interviews and photographs of Bigs and Littles
- Create materials for blog writing and newsletters
- Utilize Photoshop and other editing software to maximize photo quality
- Promote positive mentoring stories and content to be shared on social media platforms.
In addition to the asks above, the volunteer must also be able to use his or her own camera and equipment.
