Veterans are a part of a distinct culture and when Veterans interact, their common language and experience can form a strong relational bond. The camaraderie created between Veterans has proven to be supportive for all involved. Being a Vet-to-Vet Volunteer is a privilege
The following are some examples of duties that may be performed:- Call or visit Veterans on Veteran’s Dar and Memorial Day
- Visit Veterans in their homes, nursing facilities, assisted living facilities or hospitals and VA programs

Description
During hospice care, comfort and peace of mind are what matters most for patients and their families. However, hospice care is not "giving up." Instead, it’s about taking control and making the most of the days to come. Hospice care can allow you to focus on spending quality time with loved ones, while helping to meet care needs and manage discomfort...all in the familiar surroundings of home. Our hospice team members provide a multitude of services from pain management to emotional, spiritual and end of life planning support for patients whose physicians have determined they have less than six months to live, should their disease follow its expected course.
