Big Brothers Big Sisters - Pikes Peak
Colorado Springs, Colorado

Mentor2.0 matches students from Atlas Preparatory School with college-educated mentors in the Colorado Springs community, providing the students with support and guidance through their high school career to prepare them for the future.

The majority of the mentorship is done over a secure online platform (iMentor) as a "pen pal mentorship." This allows for busy professionals to flex their time-investment around their schedules. In addition, there are monthly group events for in-person mentoring facilitated by Big Brothers Big Sisters.

Volunteers must be 21 years of age, have some post-secondary education (equivalent to a two-year degree), and be able to pass an extensive background check.

Volunteers must also be willing to commit to the program for four years, as we try to make matches from freshman year through graduation. We want the students to have an example of consistency and commitment in their lives.
