Overview: The CALL volunteer program is an opportunity for people interested in the intersection of visual art, arts administration, design, urban development and environmental science to make a tangible and essential contribution to progressing innovative, interdisciplinary ways of promoting sustainability. CALL recruits volunteers to help in an administrative capacity, with event organizing, and to provide practical support helping run special programs in the local community.
Role Description: CALL is currently seeking 2-3 volunteers to help in our office with development and marketing for our programs. Tasks include helping with the newsletter, constituent database, website, event planning and organization of our archives.
As these roles are computer-based, volunteers will need to be comfortable with basic computer and internet skills such as using spreadsheets and email. No development or marketing experience is needed; all necessary training and support will be provided. Each volunteer will be give a specific regular task based on their interests and skills. Although these roles are office-based, volunteers will also have the opportunity to help at range of fun community programs in the summer.
Commitment: Approximately 3-4 hours per week, ideally for 6 months or longer.
