Overview: The CALL volunteer program is an opportunity for young people interested in the intersection of visual art, arts administration, design, urban development and environmental science to make a tangible and essential contribution to progressing innovative, interdisciplinary ways of promoting sustainability. CALL recruits volunteers to help in an administrative capacity, with event organizing, and to provide support to our designers.
Role Description: CALL is currently seeking 2 interns to help in our office with development, design and digital media for our programs. Tasks include helping with the newsletter, constituent database, social media, managing website, and assisting our in-house designer on design projects.
As these roles are computer-based, interns will need to be comfortable with basic computer and internet skills, and understanding of social media, and have some experience in adobe creative suite. Each intern will be give a specific regular task based on their interests and skills. Although these roles are office-based, interns will also have the opportunity to help at range of fun community programs in the summer.
School credit is available for students who require it
Commitment: Approximately 6-10 hours per week, for a minimum of 3 months.

These initiatives motivate citizens to engage, explore and experience the world around more actively. CALL’s interdisciplinary strategies facilitate deeper understanding of the natural systems and infrastructure that make our world work.
As a result, citizens who engage with CALL programs and projects are better equipped to grapple with environmental challenges and to re-imagine urban life in ways that will make it more resilient in the future.
