Big Brothers Big Sisters - Pikes Peak El Paso County, Colorado
Community Based Mentoring: Volunteers are matched with a child (ages 9 to12) to be that child's mentor, role model and friend, doing activities based upon their mutual interests. Volunteers commit to a minimum of one year, spending time with the same child two to four times each month. Big Brothers Big Sisters staff members support the mentors and the match relationship, offering advice, suggestions, counsel and assistance.
This is our traditional mentoring program for which Big Brothers Big Sisters is best and most known for, nationally.
Volunteers must be 21 years of age, have a valid driver's license and auto insurance, and be able to pass an extensive background check.
Right now, Big Brothers Big Sisters - Pikes Peak is in need of men to volunteer as mentors - we need Big Brothers. Currently, we have several young boys enrolled as Little Brothers waiting to be matched with a Big. Please consider volunteering today!
