We are celebrating Cancer Survivor Day at Cancer Support Community Central Ohio in a big way! Please consider volunteering for participant registration, serving lunch and desserts, stuffing participant gift bags, parking/shuttle assistance, and helping with games and contests throughout this special day! You will probably perform a variety of these duties, but they are all fun and you are welcome to enjoy this day with our cancer survivors to the fullest!
We will need volunteers for the following activities and times:
8:30 am-10:30 am Outdoor Tent and Table setup
8:30 am-10:30 am Indoor Tables and Chair setup
11:00 am-12:00 Noon Vendor set up (Outdoors)
11:00 am-1:00 pm Registration Table (Outdoors)
11:00 am-11:30 am Seat guests and Pass hors d'eouvres - Indoors
11:30 am-12:30 pm Buffet Lunch with 2 Serving Stations - Indoors
12:30 pm-1:00 pm Lunch Cleanup
1:00 pm-3:00 pm Outdoors Games & Activities
1:00 pm-3:00 pm Indoor Games & Activities
3:00 pm-3:30 pm Hawaiian Runway Fashion Show - Indoors
3:30 pm-4:00 pm Serve Dessert - Indoors
4:00 pm-5:00 pm Cleanup after event
We have drivers signed up for shuttling participants from and to the parking lot in front of the Kenny Center/Japan Market on Old Henderson. Please park there upon your arrival.
If you can stay all day or for a few hours, we will be glad for your help. Please let us know in advance the time you can volunteer for our event to honor our Cancer Survivors!
