Horses4Heroes is looking for teens and adults, ages 16 and older, who can lead horses on the weekends and weekday afternoons. Weekend shifts through September 30 are 8 to noon or 10 to 2. Weekday shifts, Tuesday-Friday, are 3 to 7. It's cooling down and the weather is great for horse rides! Your role as a leader will be to either lead our horses, or serve as a side walker for riders 3 and under. We will provide training. You also will help with chores, mucking stalls, getting horses saddled and unsaddled, etc. Experience with horses would be great, but not required. We can train you. You need to be physically able to walk in the corral on sand. We give 10 to 15 minute breaks every hour, whenever possible. Interested? Please email events@horses4heroes.org. We look forward to seeing you in the Horses4Heroes Equestrian Center, located within historic Floyd Lamb Park at Tule Springs, a true oasis in the desert. WE ARE ALWAYS SHORT-HANDED ON SUNDAYS. Lead-arounds are an important way for our non-profit organization to increase visibility and raise funds to support operations and feed our horses. Please email events@horses4heroes.org. Thanks for your support.
