Brighten up a person's day by visiting with him/her! Our residents would love to have someone to chat with and share some of their life stories. Visits often last 20 minutes to an hour. You could go out to lunch together, play a board game or just spend some time together getting to know each other. You may visit once a week or once a month!

Carroll Lutheran Village is a retirement village of 90 beautifully landscaped acres nestled in the scenic countryside of Carroll County, Maryland. We are just west of Westminster, overlooking Wakefield Valley, and we are home to nearly 500 residents. This peaceful, nonprofit community provides an affordable continuum of care for the region's growing senior population, featuring residential living and assisted living, as well as the finest short- and long-term skilled nursing care and rehabilitation services. Carroll Lutheran Village offers comfortable, homelike surroundings, a kind and caring staff, and services and activities galore. It's conveniently close to the excitement and entertainment of Washington and Baltimore, yet worlds away in a pastoral setting with picturesque scenery.
